Lev Leviev, owner of the Garage 9 / 22: For a long time, my cars were stored in commercial facilities, or worse—in the underground parking of my office or apartment buildings. It never felt right. Cars like these deserve a space and atmosphere that reflects their beauty. I wanted the garage and the cars to exist as a whole—for the space to set the mood the moment anyone walks in. The cars look so much better in a beautiful setting. But more than that, I wanted the interior to reflect the same era and sensibility as the cars themselves.
When you step inside, you should feel transported—not just to a garage, but to a particular moment in automotive culture.Latvia might seem like an unusual place for something like this, but that's part of what makes it special. It's quiet, removed from the noise.
Komare / The garage serves as a man‘
s cave, where we aimed to recreate the excitement I felt as a boy visiting a grown man' s hobby shop. The space is filled with posters, signs, and other various objects, creating a wonderfully ambient atmosphere.
We carefully sourced and restored vintage furniture, which adds an authentic feeling and matches the character of the cars. This two-floor garage can store nearly 40 cars on the first floor, while the second floor features a movie area and a vinyl listening booth. By bringing together everything we cherish—art, cars,
furniture, and vinyl—we decided to include one final touch: custom-made speakers, crafted in collaboration with our friend, Mark Kadek. The garage will continue to evolve over time,
serving as a canvas for further collectibles and inspiring others to bring their extraordinary ideas to life.
